(CHASE RACE #5) Valspar Paints Dirt Duel @ Knoxville Raceway

Dallas Hammond breaks through at Knoxville, joins Everett in Final 4
The dirt track in Knoxville, IA brought chaos to the Kobalt Tools Truck Series chase, in a race that saw then-leader Hanamaru Tsushima get into a wreck that put her on her roof, it would be Dallas Hammond of Austin, TX that would get his first career STARS win at the dirt track, putting his Mach 5 Motorsports truck in victory lane.
"Man, it's been a struggle to get to this point but damn if it don't feel good! Just had a flyin' Steak N' Shake Chevy today, (Ryan) Jeffries was up there for a while but he just couldn't catch us, we had a bad fast machine, and now we can focus on getting to Vegas and going for the title." Dallas Hammond said, post race.
"We just weren't gonna be up there to go for the win at the end of it. It is what it is, but we had a great truck today and we got a podium out of it! Good stuff all around." Owen Hill said, bringing his Tinker Federal machine home P3 on the day.
