McBrien Racing announce expansion to four full time cars
McBrien Racing will expand to a four car franchise for the first time in the teams history, and will also field two rookies for the first time for 2017. The team have traditionally hosted a three car armada since their inception in the sport in 2001 but the introduction of the #19 team will see Evie Vance graduate from the Kobalt Tools Trucks Series at the age of 19.
Vance drove for McBrien Racing in the KTTS for two years, and took home three victories with a best championship result of 2nd in her rookie season.
The other rookie is another female driver, Ruby McBrien, the oldest daughter of team owner Frank McBrien. Ruby McBrien has experience in late models but will make the move straight to the Lowe's International Series after showing incredible pace. McBrien, however, is also looking to drive in the NSCF Championship Series season opener to gain approval to run in the Empire State 450. Evie Vance will not need to do this as she has experience on larger ovals through the Truck Series.
Champions Bradley Carlisle and Frank McBrien will return to their cars for the upcoming season.
