New sponsor for New York
The New York 225 was a staple of the Truck Series for many years, but it's getting a makeover starting this year, as radio streaming service iHeartRadio has signed on to sponsor the event for the next 5 years. But STARS management is confident that despite the new name, it'll be the same great racing the fans have come to expect from the New York Autoring.

Re: 2017 iHeartRadio 225 (Pre-Race)
The fallen angel descends on New York
In what has already been a very interesting start to the festivities in the world of STARS for the 2017 season, the Kobalt Tools Truck Series qualifying session brought yet another big surprise, as Yoshiko Kunikida, of Numazu, Japan, has won her first ever E-Cola Pole Award with a lap time of 42.216, and will lead the field to the green for the iHeartRadio 225, with 49 year old Bob Boyd of Reno, NV starting P2.
Kunikida tweeted out to her fanbase, who she affectionately calls her "Little Demons", that she would "begin the rise to her throne amongst the STARS", perhaps an omen to what is to come when the green flag drops?
Her Aqours Racing teammate, Hanamaru Tsushima, didn't do too bad herself, getting P5 on the grid.
