Cam Bennett has pulled off a contender for upset of the year at Charlotte, coming from 3+ seconds back in his #81 Holden, with help from Winnipeg, Manitoba's Scott Strickland to pass Bailey Bliss for the victory, securing a spot in his chase.
"Oh man! You don't make that stuff up, mate! Scott (Strickland) had my back bumper for those last 5 laps or so, and we just rocketed up to that pack of lapped trucks. Hopefully (Scott) Andrews appreciated me bump-drafting 'em down the backstretch there, ha ha ha. Everyone on this Harvey Norman crew worked their tails off today, and we got one baby! Score one for 'stralia!" Said a thrilled Cam Bennett.
